one small blog for man, one giant blog for... no one.

Hello and Guten Tag!

This is a blog, but at the same time this isn't a blog. For a blog to be a blog someone needs to blog on that blog, and I have not been blogging on my blog. BUT that is about to change! Maybe, possibly, who knows...

Starting now, I promise (fingers crossed behind my back) to blog at least once a week, whether it be something really interesting that has happened or just what my favourite sandwich filling was that week, I will blog!

I hope everyone has had a fantastic Christmas and will have an even more fantastic New Years! I have and I know I will! :)

My first 'official' blog post will be in the New Year and I will most likely be hungover writing it, which should be interesting!

For now I will leave you with this picture of me drunk with a packet of crackers in my mouth.

Remember, Remember

Hello and Guten Tag!

Hope everyone had a scary halloween and an exciting bonfire night! I did! I know I am a little bit late posting about halloween but meh!

For my halloween celebrations me and my housemates got dressed up (in fancy dress of course) and went for a night out just like every other student out there. It was packed. We managed to get into a few clubs (the crap ones) but when we inevitably got bored of them and went on to the better clubs where we were told that there was a slim chance that we would get in after queuing for 30 minutes in the rain. Great! However, me being intoxicated made me feel like I was wearing a fluffy coat (well known fact that drunk people do not feel the cold, they could get thrown into the Arctic and feel like they are on a beach in Hawaii, however that is not recommended). Luckily at that point our friend Nur, who was dressed as a jellyfish, came to the rescue and invited us to a house party, hurrah! The night ended with us having a face paint and glitter fight, with random people that we had met at the party, if anything it only improved my look. We eventually ended up stumbling home at half 3 in the morning. Was a pretty darn good night!

ALSO for bonfire night I had my very first bonfire on the beach! However, it did not live up to my expectations. I was hoping for volleyball, hot guys skinny dipping, kissing at sunset, basically I was hoping for an American teen film, I got no such thing. It was FREEZING and stupidly windy and I had to use myself as a human shield because my friend Charli was scared of getting hit by the fireworks. However, having said that it was actually quite nice, we did have marshmallows and lots of hugging was required to keep warm, and everyone likes a hug, and the bonfire defiantly looked awesome by the sea.
Charli looking wind swept and interesting.

Rocky Horror

Hello and Guten Tag

I would like, if I may, to take you on a strange journey.

I love film. I could easily spend all day in bed or on the sofa just watching films, providing I had a large supply of chocolate and snacks to keep me going. My favourite of all time and one that I can watch over and over again has to be The Rocky Horror Picture Show and last night me and 3 of my friends (I'm amazed I even have 3 friends) took a little trip to Bournemouth to see the Rocky Horror show at the Bournemouth Pavilion and my gosh. It was pure magic. Best of all we were in the front row!

For those of you who haven't seen the film or the stage show (shame on you) the film summed up in one sentence. Brad and Janet break down in the rain and seek help in a nearby castle where they encounter a group of tranvestite aliens, one of which has just built a man. It's amazing, trust me.

As expected with this type of show its a requirement for the audience to dress up, those who don't are considered boring and not worthy. However I was happy to see that men weren't afraid to whack on a corset and some suspenders. I love a man in drag.

This is me, dressed as one of the Transylvanian's

Not to be cliche, but the show literally started with a bang and I shat myself and nearly jumped onto my friends lap. If I wasn't already paying attention I was now. Right from the go I was hooked and couldn't take my eyes of the stage, I was mesmerised. I loved that I knew all the words and was able to sing along, then when the Time Warp came on everyone stood up and was dancing, the atmosphere was fantastic, and all the actors were brilliant and everyone one of them made me laugh at one point during the show. However it was interesting to see Dani Harmer (Who played Janet and is best known as Tracey Beaker, who I grew up watching as a kid) fake an orgasm on stage. I also can't not mention Rocky, nothing beats a glitter covered man, wearing nothing but but leopard print underwear with a well sculpted body dancing around on stage. Yum.

When it finally came to an end I was buzzing but at the same time gutted that it was over. I will be seeing this show again! I would throughly recommend it to anyone, especially those who love the film but haven't yet seen it on stage.

Then just to top the whole night off I helped a drunk lady make a paper hat on the train ride home. I considered that my good deed of the day.

Me and Shelley (the amazing friend) on the train there, EXCITED.
The poster outside the theatre. I had to use all the power I had not to try and steal it.

Lily, Ray and Shelley. Standard bathroom picture.

Just chilling. IN THE FRONT ROW.

Group picture, my button popped open on my top, they just can't be contained!
And finally Lily with a hat on her face (that I put there)

Howdy Hey

Hello and guten tag (I'm not German)

Today I am here to create a blog. Not a very good blog but a blog none the less.
To start things off here is a brief introduction about me.

This is my face, after some editing of course. Who would dare to post a picture of themselves before ensuring that there is at least one filter on it.

This is the original picture.

I am a 19 year old student, currently studying Media in my second year at Portsmouth University with no clue what I actually want to pursue as a career, naturally.
I have a cat called Erik, and a blow up flamingo called Graham, who wears a rather smart red bow tie. If I had a theme tune for every time I walk into a room it would 'Drop it Likes its Hot' and the most exciting place I have visited was a 5 week trip to Canada.

I got a bit stuck trying to think of things about me that could be interesting, so I asked my friend Shelley what I could write that is interesting about me and she came back with "My friend Shelley is amazing"
So the most interesting thing about me is my amazing friend Shelley. Great! To be fair she is amazing, she is the only person I know who can't do a double chin!

So anyway, the point of this blog is not quite clear yet, I suppose it will be a mixture of things; reviews, funny anecdotes, the occasional rant, who knows where this might take me! Probably not far, but stick around anyway :)

For now I will leave you with a burning picture of Cliff Richard.

Goodbye and Auf Wiedersehen!
